Klaus spent many years as a clay modeller in Mercedes-Benz’s design studio, shaping future cars by hand long before they became metal. That same sense of form, volume and material carries into his own work: large-scale sculpture, painting and hand-welded furniture — the eye of an industrial designer, now without a brief to follow.
